Euphoria 2 release date trailer story and
Euphoria Season 2 Before the end of the first installment, HBO renewed Euphoria for a second season. “We are very grateful that its creator (Sam Levinson) chose HBO as the home for this innovative series. We look forward to continuing alongside these complex characters as they journey through the challenging world they inhabit, ”platform programming executive Francesca Orsi said in a statement released by Deadline.
The renewal of fiction, which follows a group of teenage high school students, who, immersed in the fateful world of drugs, sex, and violence, try to fight those monsters to face a new future, was confirmed through from a short clip shared on the series’ official Twitter account.
One of the reasons for its anticipated renewal is that the first episode of the fiction was seen by more than five million viewers on the different HBO platforms, a figure that has been maintained until the last chapter.
Although the streaming platform has not yet revealed any details of the plot of the second season of Euphoria, based on the open ending of the first installment, this is what is known of the new episodes.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN SEASON 2 OF EUPHORIA
In the last episode of the HBO drama, although the idea of escaping with Jules was from Rue, she gave up at the last minute and stayed at the foot of the car. On the way home, while walking some of the happiest and saddest moments of his life are shown, and later he falls back on drugs.
From there everything becomes confusing, to the point that several theories have emerged that try to explain what happened, Rue, wearing the hoodie of her late father, begins to sing All for us de Labrinth followed by a kind of dancing chorus with her and lifts her in his arms. The episode closes with her reaching the top of the crowd and dropping down.
What does the end of that music video mean to Rue? What happened to Fez? Where was McKay during the entire episode? Will Jules be back? What will Maddy do with that CD? Will Lexi get what she deserves? Where was Ali? What became of Nate? These are some of the questions that the first season of Euphoria left and are expected to result in the second installment.
Apparently in the final episode of the series, based on the Israeli series of the same name, some followers believe that Rue died of an overdose.
They consider that the fact that in his hallucinations he was ignored by his mother and sister, but could interact with his dead father is proof of his death.
However, others are convinced that everything seen in the last scene is the representation of the maximum state of euphoria caused by drugs, and that it would be at this moment where Rue would be able to recognize his true happiness and that in the next chapters he will finally manage to recover.
